This is an opportunity to build and manage all aspects of ZogSports’ operations in Boston and become a part of the ZogSports family. This position will be semi-autonomous with the tremendous support of the successful NY-based team and will be tasked with launching our 4th location. The GM will be responsible for managing all aspects of our charity-focused, co-ed, social sports leagues and activities for young professionals. This includes all aspects of planning, hiring, budgeting and running events on evenings and weekends. We welcome candidates who live in Boston, and those who are willing to relocate to Boston. The GM will benefit from existing ZogSports infrastructure (including state-of-the-art custom-built league management software, a comprehensive interactive operations manual and a team with 20+ years of experience). They will work out of a local office, but start with several weeks of training in New York. The GM will be part of our national team and support all efforts/projects designed to build the infrastructure of the company and help it grow. Responsibilities and duties include: Planning and management, including staffing, communications, logistics and customer service for any and all ZogSports leagues, tournaments, trips, classes, clinics, social events and volunteer opportunities Field/gym procurement and ongoing facility relationship management Hiring, training and managing all part-time and full-time staff Customer, vendor and partner communications Development, customization and dissemination of marketing materials Relationship management for all marketing partners including: clubs, companies and other organizations Public relations events/projects Marketing research and identification/conversion of new members and business opportunities/partners Development and maintenance of social media strategy League management software (website, content management system and backend admin) management Profitability analysis Budgeting/finance/accounting All other activities necessary to help the build and grow the business

REQUIRED: BA or BS degree Tremendous leadership, drive and enthusiasm Excellent written and verbal communication skills 5-10 years of related business experience Ability to handle multiple projects at one time Excellent organization skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as within a team Self-starter/resourceful, great problem solver
| PREFERRED: Familiarity with Boston area Strong knowledge of PC/network environment including Microsoft Excel, Internet, Windows XP Online marketing experience (e.g., Facebook, GoogleAdwords, email campaigns) Web development/technology experience Knowledge of organized sports, business of sports, and sports marketing
