It's 11 on 11, with at least 4 women. It's exactly as you remember it (rolling ball, no bouncies) and we keep it exciting for everyone on the team through our four divisions (Players, Sorta Players, Casual and Extremely Casual).
Early/regular registration will open May 3rd/May 15th and close May 14th/May 28th or earlier if the league sells out. League fees are $1095/$1195 for a team of up to 18 players ($35 for each additional player over 18 - no limit to number of players on your roster) and $95/$105 for individuals (we'll get everyone on a team). Rosters are generally 17-19 players (5-7 women and 5-7 men). ZogSportsNJ donates a percentage of our profit to charity.
Fee Includes:
- 7 regular season games
- One head referee/game
- 50% of the teams will qualify for the heart-wrenching single elimination playoff tournament
- One t-shirt per person on the roster
- Field fees
- Equipment
- "Prize Money" from our sponsors donated to the winning team's charity of choice
- League administration
- Organized Happy Hours at local bars after the games
Regular season games begin Early to Mid June.
Games will be played Monday through Thursday between 6:45pm – 11:15.
All games will be played at Momma Johnson Field at 4th & Jackson Street in Hoboken.
Please note that game times, location and dates mentioned above are a very good guideline, but may change slightly.
- Players - Think you're a jock? This division will be competitive, but still fun.
- Sorta Players - Pretty good athletes, maybe played together before, but still social.
- Casual - Played before? Not a bad athlete? This is the happy middle ground.
- Extremely Casual - Inexperienced at football? Just looking for a fun time? It's for you if you're looking more for the social than the competition or consider yourself a beginner at the organized game.
ZogSportsNJ will try to accommodate all team and individual player requests for Division, but cannot guarantee all requests. We will not place an individual player more than 1 division (above or below) their original request. In order to create the best possible experience for the whole league ZogSportsNJ will place returning teams in the division we feel most appropriate.
