Kickball League Information

How Does It Work?

It's 11 on 11, with at least 4 women. It's exactly as you remember it (rolling ball, no bouncies) and we keep it exciting for everyone on the team through our two divisions (Casual and Extremely Casual).

What’s the Cost and What’s Included?

Early/regular registration will open May 5th and close May 9th/16th or earlier if the league sells out. The cost is $650/$750 for a team of 18 players ($35 for each additional player over 18 - no limit to number of players on your roster) and $60/$70 for individuals (we'll get everyone on a team). ZogSports donates a percentage of our profit to charity.

Fee includes:

  • 5 regular season games
  • A heart-wrenching single elimination playoff tournament (50% of teams qualify)
  • Field fees
  • ZogSports umpires
  • One t-shirt per person on the roster
  • Field fees
  • Equipment - kickballs and bases
  • "Prize Money" from our sponsors donated to the winning team's charity of choice
  • League administration
  • Organized Happy Hours at local bars after the games

When Does it Start and When Are the Games?

The league starts in Early July. Games will be Sunday afternoons and evenings.

Where Are We Playing?

Games will take place at the following field (other fields may be added depending on permits):

  • The Prospect Park Parade Grounds
  • McLaughlin Park (Cathedral & Bridge St)

Please note that game times, location and dates mentioned above are a very good guideline, but may change slightly.

What Are the Rules?

This is a fun recreational league. So we want everyone to play, stay involved and stay safe. The key rules are:

  • 11 on 11, with at least 4 women on the field at all times with everyone present in the kicking order
  • No bouncie pitches
  • You can throw the ball at someone to get them out, but you must hit them below the shoulders
  • 7-inning games
  • For full set of rules, see link at top of page.

Levels of Play

  • Casual Division - Played before? Not a bad athlete? This is the happy middle ground.
  • Extremely Casual Division - this is the pure fun division. It's for you if you're looking more for the social than the competition or consider yourself a beginner at the organized game.
ZogSports will try to accommodate all team and individual player requests for Division, but cannot guarantee all requests. We will not place a team or player more than 1 division (above or below) their original request.
