How Does It Work?

It's 11 on 11, with at least 4 women on the field at all times. We play on a full field with a goalie and real goals. We keep it exciting for everyone on the team through our four divisions (Players, Sorta Players, Casual and Extremely Casual).

What’s the Cost and What’s Included?

Early/regular registration will open April 21st and close May 2nd/16th or earlier if the league sells out.
League fees are $1700/$1800 for a team of 18 players ($35 for each additional player over 18 - no limit to number of players on your roster) and $140/$150 for individuals (we'll get everyone on a team). ZogSports donates a percentage of our profit to charity.

Fee includes:

• 7 regular season games and 1 scrimmage
• Hired ZogSports referees (1/game as the head ref - in addition to team linesmen)
• A heart-wrenching single elimination playoff tournament (50% of teams qualify)
• One t-shirt per person on the roster
• Soccer field fees
• Equipment
• "Prize Money" from our sponsors donated to the winning team's charity of choice
• League administration
• Organized Happy Hours at local bars after the games

When Does it Start and When Are the Games?

The season starts in early June. Teams will play Sundays. Games start between 2:00pm - 7:00pm. Your division does not determine when you play.

Where Are We Playing?

Games will take place on the awesome turf field at Brooklyn Tech High School right in downtown Brooklyn.

• The Brooklyn Tech football field is located at 510 Clermont Avenue (Clermont bet. Fulton St/Harriet Ross Tubman and Atlantic Avenue).  This is the heart of downtown Brooklyn just a few blocks from the following subway stops:  2/3/4/5 to Atlantic Avenue, B/Q to Atlantic Aveune; D/M/N/R/LIRR to Atlantic Av-Pacific Street and C to Clinton-Washington Avenues.

What Are the Rules?

This is a fun, recreational league. So we want everyone to play, stay involved and stay safe. The key rules are:

• 11 on 11, at least 4 women on the field at all times
  
• Full field with a goalie and real goals
• Two 24-minute running halves
• Head referee (1/game) provided by ZogSports
• Team referees still required - each team is responsible to providing 1 linesman either before or after their game

Levels of Play

• Players Division - Think you're a jock? This division will be competitive, but still fun.
• Sorta Players - Pretty good athletes, maybe played together before, but still social and laid back.
• Casual Division - Played before? Not a bad athlete? This is the happy middle ground.
• Extremely Casual Division - this is the pure fun division. It's for you if you're looking more for the social than the competition or consider yourself a beginner at the organized game.
