How Does It Work?

It's 5 on 5, 3 men and 2 women on the field at all times and no goalie. We play in large high school gyms with 4' x 6' goals and those cool fuzzy felt indoor soccer balls. We keep it exciting for everyone on the team through our four divisions (Players, Sorta Players, Casual and Extremely Casual) (click here for full set of rules).

What’s the Cost and What’s Included?

Early/regular registration will open February 5th and close February 15th/29th or earlier if the league sells out. League fees are $1400/1500 for a team of 12 players ($35 for each additional player over 12 - no limit to number of players on your roster) and $140/150 for individuals (we'll get everyone on a team). ZogSports donates a percentage of our profit to charity.

• 7 regular season games and 1 scrimmage
• One head referee/game
• 50% of teams will make the heart-wrenching single elimination playoff tournament
• One t-shirt per person on the roster
• Gym fees
• Equipment
• "Prize Money" from our sponsors donated to the winning team's charity of choice
• League administration
• Organized Happy Hours at local bars after the games

When Does it Start and When Are the Games?

The season will start in Mid April. The league runs on Saturday/Sunday afternoons/evenings. The division you choose does not determine when you will play.  Games are from 12PM-10PM

Where Are We Playing?

All games will be played In Manhattan at these fantastic and very convenient high school gyms

• High School for Environmental Studies (56th between 9th and 10th)

• Roosevelt Island (Sports Park)
• Xavier (16th between 5th and 6th)

Please note that game times, location and dates mentioned above are a very good guideline, but may change slightly.

What Are the Rules?

This is a fun, recreational league. So we want everyone to play, stay involved and stay safe. The key rules are:

• 5 on 5, 3 men (maximum) and 2 women (no maximum) on the court at all times
• In a gym, no goalie, with small goals. Side walls are live, back walls above 10 foot line are out
• Two 23-minute running halves

Levels of Play

• Players Division - Think you're a jock? This division will be competitive, but still fun.
• Sorta Players - Pretty good athletes, maybe played together before, but still social and laid back.
• Casual Division - Played before? Not a bad athlete? This is the happy middle ground.
• Extremely Casual Division - this is the pure fun division. It's for you if you're looking more for the social than the competition or consider yourself a beginner at the organized game.
